Milo’s Deli opened in the fall of 2025 in the heart of Franklinton, bringing new energy to a familiar corner in the former Strongwater bar space. The project reimagines the interior as a bright, welcoming neighborhood deli while honoring the character of the building and its surroundings.
Working alongside WSA as the project architect, the buildout pairs classic white tile with warm, natural woodwork and a massive new western facing window, to create a space that feels clean, open, and approachable. Simple material choices and thoughtful detailing allow the interior to strike a balance between timeless and fresh creating an environment that supports daily use while elevating the customer experience.
As Franklinton continues to evolve, projects like Milo’s Deli reflect the power of intentional reinvestment in existing spaces. We’re proud to have partnered with the team on this transformation and to support small businesses contributing to the ongoing vitality of the neighborhood.
