Launched as a pop-up donut shop in 2022, Rose Dough Donuts quickly became a local favorite through pre-orders and farmers markets. When owner and first-time brick-and-mortar entrepreneur Katie Passo was ready to expand, she chose an unfinished space in the heart of Clintonville to bring her vision to life.
Compton Construction transformed the shell into a warm, inviting shop with a vibrant palette of pink, green, and gold finishes that glow in the morning light pouring through large east-facing windows. The design balances charm and efficiency, with a compact customer area and a thoughtfully planned kitchen that supports the brand’s growing demand. The result is a space that feels both joyful and handcrafted—perfectly reflecting the care that goes into every donut.
