The Compton Construction leadership team recently gathered for a retreat in the Hocking Hills. With Zack Meronoff joining the company in April as Preconstruction Manager and Shane Durkin taking leadership of the construction department in March, they seized the opportunity to convene off site and collaborate on planning for the company’s future.
The focus of the two-day retreat was to build alignment around the company vision of Building Success Stories in Columbus and Beyond. This new vision established in January 2024 has inspired many conversations about what defines a success story for our team, our clients, our trade partners, and the larger community. The leadership team is excited to build on this vision for years to come.
In addition to facilitated planning sessions the team hosted mindful business and meditation coach Juan Alvarez for a conversation on Mindful Leadership. When the work was completed they shared meals, hiked, and laughed over personal stories and games.
