Pouring the Concrete Slab

The “JAM House” construction is fully on! The concrete slab was poured and will eventually serve as the finished flooring of the house. Crews added reinforcing and insulation before pouring to add structure and help reduce heating costs. Eventually, the concrete will be polished and sealed for a unique finished floor on the first floor.

What is a “JAM House?”

The “JAM House” is a home designed entirely by our drafter and estimator, Jeremy Miller. He purchased a vacant lot from the Columbus Land Bank, and is now building a new home on the Franklinton lot. Check out this article for the full story behind the “JAM House,”  and check out our YouTube channel for more construction projects!

Next Step: Framing – A load of lumber will get delivered to the job site, and the building will soon go up. This is one of the most exciting steps in a new build, and will reveal the overall style, and shape of the home.
