Golf Outing to Honor Harold Compton Sr. and Jr.

On October 4th, 2025, the Village View Golf Course in Croton, OH will once again play host to an annual memorial honoring the lives of Harold George Compton Sr. and Harold George Compton Jr.

The event is not your standard golf tournament. The scramble format with unorthodox rules is a great way to celebrate these two men who lived life to the fullest and enjoyed a great joke. With that in mind, cheating is encouraged and 8th place wins! Lunch is served and the winners are announced after the scramble is complete.

All proceeds from the event will support the Harold George Compton Fund at the Columbus Foundation which contributes to organizations like Youth Build supporting priorities aligned with their legacies.

Last September the team from Compton Construction invited those who were friends and colleagues of Harold Compton Jr. alongside our friends, clients, and trade partners to join in the fun on a Saturday in the fall.
