Compton Construction founder Blake Compton has returned to the daily leadership of the company. Blake stepped back from his role as CEO in 2020 to pursue development, owner representation, and consulting opportunities, and now returns his hands-on role with the leadership of Compton. His two year break also allowed him to explore personal growth and development with an emphasis on mindful leadership and re-envisioning his goals for the company as an engine of good in the community.
Departing CEO Adam Koons, is taking over construction and operations management at Licking Heights Local Schools as Director of Business Operations for Buildings and Grounds. Adam’s time at Compton started with a focus in marketing and grew to general management of the company and sales, before assuming the role of CEO in 2020.
The leadership team of Adam, Director of Accounting Arthur Brennick, and Director of Construction Jeff Berling carried the team through the worst of the COVID pandemic ensuring continued operations and successful builds. With Blake back as CEO the leadership team is excited to continue their recent successes.
