Facilitating Collaboration: SMPS Heartland Regional Conference
Compton Construction has always supported the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and have been members since the beginning of the Company. When we heard that SMPS was hosting a regional conference in Columbus we wanted to help showcase our city to the region which includes Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Kentucky.
In addition to becoming a bronze sponsor of the SMPS Heartland Regional Conference, Denis became a Sponsorship Committee co-chair. Additionally, Denis helped establish a relationship between SMPS and The Center for Architecture and Design. By collaborating together, SMPS’s roundtable event was also added to the Columbus Design Week[s] calendar of events.
This Conference turned out to be a huge success as the National SMPS gave their applause and we received great comments from the attendees. We felt that the three-day conference was a great way to showcase Columbus and its culture to the broader SMPS region.
