Blake Compton Among the First “Spark Award” Winners
The “Spark Awards” are an award honoring entrepreneurial leaders and organizations for their character, community and authentic culture. They are sponsored be the Better Business Bureau, and 2016 was the first year for the awards, with over 50 applicants.
The award recipients were announced on April 6th at Startup Storytellers at the Columbus Museum of Art. CEO Blake Compton was among those honored with the first ever award.
As part of the entry, Compton Construction was required to put together an entry video discussing how Character, Culture and Community fit withing the company. The video discussed how Blake started and grew the company and demonstrated some of fun and creativity in the company’s culture.
