8 Must Visit Places on Small Business Saturday in Columbus
Now that you have recovered from the food-‘coma of Thanksgiving,
you might need to get out of the house and escape the relatives still hanging around. Small Business Saturday is an important day for many area businesses. Since construction isn’t typically a holiday gift, we want to show our support by (strongly) suggesting a few area businesses to visit!
Over the last 3 years, we have had the opportunity to see local small business start, grow, and thrive in Columbus. We serve the local businesses everyday, but want to take this opportunity to celebrate some of our partners and friends! We are an advocate for all the local businesses that continue to make Columbus great!

A makers space for artists, craftsmen, and all people creative. Shop small during Small Business Saturday hosted by Columbus Idea Foundry resident blacksmith Adlai Stein of Macabee Metals. The CIF will be open to shoppers 10am-2pm who can score unique handcrafted gifts, furniture, decor, fine art, jewelry and more from the CIF community.

Land-Grant Brewing Company
After shopping at CIF, stop into Land-Grant, right next door, for the OSU vs. Michigan game. Grab a locally crafted brew and enjoy the football game, starting at Noon.

Crimson Cup Coffee

Another makers space in Franklinton, Glass Axis is a non-profit dedicating to teaching and advancing education through glass art. They are closed on Small Business Saturday, but they offer locally made glass art, or gift cards for classes that would make the perfect gift for the person who “has it all”.
