How to visit Compton Construction

Visiting Compton Construction will take an extra 5 minutes while the West 5th bride is closed for construction. The city is making repairs and widening the bridge over the mighty Scioto River. Construction is projected to be completed around December 3, 2015.

Update – December 21, 2015 is the official date that the bridge will open for vehicle traffic. There were some weather delays that pushed back the paving and concrete operations. Some elements of the project will not be in place until late January, so they will do that work weekends when traffic volumes are low.
