Passion. Detail. Talent.
When you have a talented team that is passionate about what they do, your work isn’t work at all. At Compton Construction we celebrate the talents of our team, and encourage them to reach their goals. Example: Meet Jeremy Miller, our Drafter and Estimator, and one of the best Drummers Franklinton has ever seen!
4 years ago, Jeremy Miller joined Compton Construction, after attending The Ohio State University for Architecture. He started in the field, but CEO Blake Compton realized that wasn’t the best use of Jeremy’s talents. So Blake gave him a shot at estimating a few of our projects, and there was no turning back. Jeremy’s detail oriented nature made him a perfect fit for the estimating. He was able to combine his background in architecture, and begun drafting spacial plans and using CAD to get accurate pictures of what our jobs would cost.
Fast forward to today, and Jeremy’s talents are still continuing to grow.
His band, The Cordial Sins, have gained in popularity getting featured on local radio stations, and multiple local venues. Compton Construction has grown leaps and bounds, with almost every project having Jeremy’s finger prints on it, making our sales growth possible.
So what does he do next?
Why not design and draft the plans for your own home? Buy a Land Bank property in Franklinton and have the company you work for build it?
That’s exactly what Jeremy did!
Construction has begun on Jeremy’s new home.
The project was completely designed for his lifestyle, favorite finishes, and to his budget. It will have minimalist design aesthetics, while being functional and comfortable. The home will be a 3 bed, 2 bath house coming in at just over 1300 sq. ft., complete with loft area, eat in kitchen and large great room for hanging out.
We want to celebrate this story and will be providing updates on the construction of this home. It is not only the first Home built by Compton Construction, but the story of the Franklinton; a hard working young artist, working on his craft, and living out a dream. Jeremy had a vision, worked hard and is now seeing it all pay off.
