Compton Construction Receives Award For Philanthropy
Compton Construction was awarded a Columbus Business First Corporate Caring Award for their work in the Arts as a Small Business. They accepted the award at the Corporate Caring luncheon where past client, Joe Deloss of Hot Chicken Takeover was the keynote speaker.
Compton Construction was nominated by the Huckleberry House, but it was their work with the Columbus Idea Foundry, Glass Axis, and $22,000 in donations contributed to the award.
Compton Construction led the Design Build team to develop Phase 1 of the 60,000 square foot Idea Foundry building in Franklinton. They donated materials, and found volunteers to help make sure the project was completed.
Compton Construction also donated $22,000 to various local organizations in 2015, including a special gift of $10,000 to Glass Axis at the completion of their Franklinton renovation.
